RAISEfashion is a network of fashion industry leaders, providing pro bono consulting to Black-owned brands and individuals, with a mission to advance the equity of Black talent. By sharing time and expertise, the non-profit are able to break down existing barriers to entry and mobilize others to achieve their business and career goals, while fostering a more inclusive industry.

VSN. is part of the advisory network at RAISEfashion, supporting brands and individuals in the fashion industry.

RAISEfashion is steered by an organizing group matching applicants with the network of vetted experts. First, an intake meeting will be scheduled with one of the group’s advisors, to assess your brand’s largest areas of opportunity and greatest needs. Then you will be paired with up to 3 industry experts for a minimum of 1 consulting session on each of those specific topics. Individual career counseling — including resume support, interview skills, and career path discussions — will also be available for individuals reaching out for career support.

The volunteer advisory network consists of 75+ industry leaders, with years of experience across all sectors of the market, including creative content, branding, merchandising, sales, and business development. Advisors have backgrounds ranging from high luxury to contemporary and mass markets, across categories of men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, leather goods, jewelry, and home goods.
